We spoke before about the arrival of Mario Strikers: Battle League, the game where the famous Italian plumber is going to the soccer field for some unfair play! Mario Strikers: Battle League is all about breaking almost all the rules of soccer as you’re playing soccer!
The new Mario game came out on June 10, and you can play it on Nintendo Switch or Wii. As for now, there’s a new update launching for Mario Strikers: Battle League today, July 21.
There’s some new gear available for Mario, Luigi, and even the terrifying Bowzer. If you want a new stadium to play at, the developers from Next Level Games might have read your mind! The new update also brings Desert Ruin as the new stadium.
Last but not least, Princess Daisy will also be joining the action this time! Who said that girls don’t know how to play some good quality soccer while also breaking some rules? Daisy proves the opposite, and you can watch her “dancing,” along with the other new stuff that the update brings, below:
Nintendo’s description for the game that came out a while ago couldn’t have been more relevant:
Lace up your cleats & prepare to bring the heat in Mario Strikers: Battle League!
Fierce special shots, items, & tackles means there’s no rules except to rule the field! Play with up to 8 players locally & online, and even create your own club when Mario Strikers: Battle League launches on Nintendo Switch June 10th.
In this game, Daisy seems that she’ll be far from what would normally describe a princess. She’ll be ruthless and up for a new challenge. She won’t back down from a match. Her shots will be so powerful that they’ll demolish the goalkeeper itself!
