S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl’s New Gameplay Trailer Looks Amazing

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is an upcoming open-world survival horror game developed by GSC Game World. It is the sequel to the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game, which was released in 2007. Set in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, the game follows the story of a character known as the Marked One, who is caught in the midst of a mysterious and dangerous event known as the “Emitters.”

As the Marked One, players must navigate the treacherous and radiation-filled landscape of the Exclusion Zone, fighting off mutated creatures and other dangers while searching for answers about the Emitters and their connection to the Chernobyl disaster.

There’s no time to waste in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl

As soon as you start playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, there’s no such thing as having a moment of relaxation. Judging by all the details we have so far, we can surely expect an impressive game. The protagonist will even have to face monsters and mutant creatures that somehow evolved because of the deadly radiation from the nuclear disaster of Chornobyl.

Chornobyl Exclusion Zone has changed dramatically after the second massive explosion in year 2006. Violent mutants, deadly anomalies, warring factions have made the Zone a very tough place to survive. Nevertheless, artifacts of unbelievable value attracted many people called S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s, who entered the Zone for their own risk striving to make a fortune out of it or even to find the Truth concealed in the Heart of Chornobyl.

If you are willing to play the game on a PC when it comes out, you must keep in mind that you’ll need at least 8GB of RAM, a processor such as the AMD Ryzen 5 1600X or Intel Core i5-7600K, and a graphics card such as AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is scheduled to release in December 2023.
