Foldable devices are nothing new, as companies such as Samsung or Huawei have created such gadgets in recent years. The technology allows a device, such as a smartphone or a tablet, to have a flexible display that can be folded in half or into a smaller size. This allows the device to be more compact and portable when not in use and then transform into a larger screen when needed.

One of the main benefits of foldable devices is their versatility. They can be used as a compact phone for everyday tasks and then transformed into a larger tablet-like device for activities such as watching movies, reading, or gaming. This can be particularly convenient for people who want a device that can serve multiple purposes and don’t want to carry multiple devices with them.

Windows 11 will bring improvements soon

A new report revealed by Windows Central indicates that for 2023, Windows 11 will bring some improvements for foldable devices, including both single-screen and dual-screen designs.

To be more precise, the improvements will be available specifically for foldable PCs, as Zac Bowden of Windows Central reveals.

Bowden stated that these upgrades will be released as part of a major update called “Moment 3” and will be available for both types of devices, whether they have one screen or two. The update is expected to roll out sometime in the late spring or early summer. The same source refers to the changes as “preliminary improvements,” which indicates that, however, we can’t have too high expectations.

Windows 11 is the latest and greatest version of Microsoft’s operating system, and it’s packed with all sorts of cool stuff! For starters, the start menu has gotten a facelift, making it easier to find all your favorite apps and features. Plus, the whole system runs faster and more efficiently than ever before. And let’s not forget about security – Windows 11 has beefed up its defenses to keep your device safe from all the internet’s nastiest critters. But that’s not all! Windows 11 also lets you create virtual desktops, so you can keep your work organized and your desktop clutter-free.
