Nokia X10 and X20 models were released last year at a distance of one month from one another. Both devices are very powerful, and the highlights consist of the batteries and the cameras.

We kept hearing in the recent past about Android 12 being rolled out for more and more smartphones. Now, the wait is over in the case of the two aforementioned gadgets, according to NPU. Furthermore, if you’re a happy owner of a Nokia X10 or Nokia X20 phone, you also have to know that the update includes the June 2022 security update!

The new update is rolling out

The new Android 12 builds are rolling out for the X10 and X20 models of Nokia, which means that you should see a change soon enough if you have such a phone. Just keep it connected to the internet! You must also remember that it’s best to use WiFi connectivity, as fees may apply if you opt for cellular data.

Android 12 Build V2.400 arrives for Nokia X10, to be more precise. The download size is just 174MB, so there’s no need to worry that you don’t have enough space. The update will also improve system stability and bring some enhancements to the UI.

In the case of Nokia X20 users, they’ll get the Android 12 Build V2.560. The download size is a lot bigger than the one for the X10 model: 275MB. As for what’s new in the build, the change log is pretty much the same as the one for the X10 model.

Google released Android 12 publicly last year in October, and the new version of the mobile OS was generally received well. But the Mountain View-based tech giant surely doesn’t want to stop there, as Android 13 is already in the works. This later OS is already released in beta form, and how the final version will be is still pretty much anybody’s guess.
