Blizzard Entertainment will launch a new bloody hack and slash game for its Diablo series in 2023. Known simply as Diablo 4, the upcoming game seems to be raising the stakes more than ever. New trailers and info came out a few days ago about what’s cooking in the next Diablo.
Diablo Immortal is another game developed by the same Blizzard Entertainment, and it came out earlier this month as a free-to-play MMORPG. Some folks immediately began speculating about possible striking similarities between Diablo Immortal and Diablo 4, but Blizzard comes to assure us that it won’t be the case.
The name is the only similarity between Diablo 4 and Diablo Immortal
According to Kotaku, Blizzard says that there are no other similarities between Diablo 4 and Diablo Immortal except for the name.
Adam Fletcher, the global community lead at Blizzard, said the following:
[Diablo IV] is coming out as a full-price game built strictly for PC and console audiences,
The game is huge and there will be tons of content after launch for all players. Paid content is built around optional cosmetic items and eventually full expansions.

What’s for sure is that Diablo 4 seems like an unleashed monster – it’s so full of bloody and merciless scenes!
The official gameplay showcase trailer that came out two days ago can fully prove it to you:
We have to wait until 2023 for Diablo 4 to come out, although a more precise release date would have surely been welcomed.
