A new Sly Cooper title is in development for PlayStation, and fans are thrilled.
According to industry insiders, a sequel to Infamous and Sly Cooper are currently in development. We don’t know who the leaker is, but we do know that he has a credible track record. They’ve talked about Star Wars Eclipse before it was actually revealed, and ever since then, he was right about pretty much everything he said. He even talked about the delay of the trailer for Fantastic Beasts, which turned out to be true.
We are not surprised that these two games are in development right now. Xbox has made a lot of improvements lately, and their recent acquisitions also speak volumes. After that, we’ve seen Sony answer to their acquisitions, by buying Bungie. Of course, both parts started to heat up, and Microsoft had to keep its head in the game.
And since Microsoft has done a few steps forward as well, it’s clear that some IPs could be in the works. Sony has come with new games or sequels to some of their older titles, and fans are excited about all of them. The Infamous and Sly Cooper franchises are two of the most popular ones, so of course Sony wants to bring them back.
As of now, we don’t know the stage of development of the games. They might be in the early stage, so we are still waiting for more info on them.
