Cyberpunk 2077 could actually come with its next-gen update sooner than expected. It has been a while since we got anything new for Cyberpunk 2077. We received its last update back in September 2021, and it was full of bugs and technical issues – and they still haven’t fixed it. According to reports, they will fix all of the problems with the next update, which will be here in the first half of 2022.

Cyberpunk 2077‘s Steam interface has been upgraded to a new one – for the first time since October 2021. This might be a hint that something big is coming for the game – would it be a next-gen patch, or a small update, awaiting the real deal?

As of now, we are happy that new things have come for Cyberpunk 2077. The company has big plans for the game, and the future looks bright. There will probably also be some new content drop, maybe a teaser of the post-launch expansion? We might also get an update for the multiplayer mode of the game, which has been postponed after the incredibly bad launch in 2020. Eight million people had pre-ordered and paid for the game, and it is safe to say they were not happy with the final results. We’re hoping that the problem will get solved soon.

According to reports, developers at CD Projekt Red were aware that the game was not ready to be launched in 2020, as they expected the game to be ready in 2022. They have taken a look at the progress they made in 2019, but something has changed, and they decided to release it earlier.

The company also wants to launch the Enhanced Edition of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt exclusive for the next-gen consoles. Rumor has it, and they will do it this year.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. With backward compatibility, it can also be played on PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.
