If you’re one of those guys or gals who don’t like the idea of using Snapchat, there could be strong reasons out there why you might make up your mind. The famous platform’s trump card might be exactly one that you might never think about: the dark mode.

That’s right, ladies and gents! An app adopting a dark mode is one of the best ways to get more customers. It relaxes the eyes of the user over time, saves battery power, and more! There are some strong advantages that nobody can possibly deny.

Snapchat+ could bring you the dark mode for $4/month

Snapchat might be free to use for the most part of the app, but the paid Snapchat+ plan comes with some interesting advantages. One of them is possibly the arrival of the dark mode. Thanks to 9to5Google, we can find out that Snapchat devs are already working to bring the dark mode to the Android users of the app. The app seems to fully adopt the “go big or go home” slogan, and it’s nice to see it happening!

If it’s true, Android users will get to enjoy the dark mode on Snapchat for a fee of only $4 a month. The bad news is that they still have to wait for the feature to arrive. But since the devs are working on it, the launch itself shouldn’t take more than a few months.

Alessandro Paluzzi, a man who’s constantly occupied with revealing similar information, now brings us some interesting news for what to expect from Snapchat in the near future:

Once the new feature arrives, Snapchat will clearly give other social apps a run for their money. Everybody needs a dark mode for a specific app once in a while, even if it’s only during the late-night hours.

Stay tuned!
