The Elden Ring video game’s action takes place in the Lands Between, ruled by Queen Marika the Eternal. The Elden Ring has been shattered, leading to a war known as The Shattering, triggered by the demigods who claimed its shards. Players must follow the path to the Lands Between beyond the foggy sea and become an Elden Lord by wielding the power of the Elden Ring.

The devs are currently working on a new expansion called “Shadow of the Erdtree,” which will be added to the game. It will supposedly bring significantly more exciting action than before.

The game’s Twitter page wrote:

Rise, Tarnished, and let us walk a new path together. An upcoming expansion for #ELDENRING Shadow of the Erdtree, is currently in development. We hope you look forward to new adventures in the Lands Between.

Players should also have a graphics card with a minimum of 8 GB of VRAM, such as the NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1070 or AMD RADEON RX VEGA 56. The game requires DirectX version 12 and a minimum of 60 GB of available storage space. By meeting these system requirements, players can fully enjoy the immersive and challenging gameplay of Elden Ring on their PC.

The upcoming expansion for the game was announced on the official website, and it will be available on several platforms, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. However, there were no other details revealed beside the title and a single artwork.
