The Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie that debuted last year introduced a brand new transformation for Piccolo, which makes the Namekian comparable in strength even with Ultra Instinct Goku or Ultra Ego Vegeta. Known as Orange Piccolo, it might deceive you at first into believing that it’s no big deal. But the transformation represents the pinnacle of Piccolo’s powers.
Orange Piccolo will soon join the action in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 as well as part of the Hero of Justice DLC Pack 2, according to an official source. Luckily, there are even screenshots available that show the arrival of the fighter in the game:

Orange Piccolo is coming to Xenoverse 2 and he’ll have a plethora of attacks based on his memorable and epic battles against Gamma 2 and the gargantuan Cell Max from the movie Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO.
He has one devastating Ultimate Attack and two Super Attacks that you can read more about in V Jump’s super-sized March edition, which goes on sale in Japan on Friday, January 20!
Piccolo is a very important character in the Dragon Ball series. He is initially introduced as the reincarnation of the evil King Piccolo, but over time, he becomes a central character in the series, both as a villain and later as a hero.
As the reincarnation of the evil King Piccolo, Piccolo is initially portrayed as a powerful and ruthless villain who seeks to destroy Goku and the other Z Fighters. However, over time, he develops a close relationship with Goku’s son, Gohan, and ultimately becomes a key ally in the fight against the series’ main villains.
One of the most notable moments in the series is when Piccolo sacrifices himself to save Gohan from the villain Nappa and this leads to a big change in his character and his path to redemption.
