OneDrive, the cloud storage option offered by Microsoft, has been through some interesting changes. The Redmond-based tech giant has heard the voice of the fans, and it brought a top-requested feature to the mobile app!
Microsoft OneDrive 6.65 (Beta 2) is the new update in question, and it arrives in the form of an APK file. Those who want to grab it won’t have too many headaches in the process, as the update is compatible with any device running on at least Android 6.
The new update for OneDrive assures that the user can display his media files on a Chromecast receiver or even TV as long as he has a compatible device as the source. While you start the app containing the new feature, you will simply have to look for a Cast icon displaying in the top toolbar.
While using Microsoft OneDrive, you receive 5GB of free storage space. That’s obviously way too little in 2022 when everybody likes recording videos of just about anything. That’s why you should choose a Microsoft 365 subscription, which can grant you up to 1TB of storage space.
Microsoft OneDrive can keep pretty much all sorts of files for you in a secure place. It doesn’t matter if you want to upload photos, videos, documents, or something else. The service can take care of them all as long as you don’t exceed the size limit.
Keeping 1TB of data on Microsoft OneDrive would cost you $9.99 per month, while having 600GB would cost you $5.99.
Microsoft says it very clear on its website when it comes to the OneDrive service:
Save your photos and files to OneDrive and access them from any device, anywhere.
Keeping your files on a cloud storage service is something very usual nowadays, regardless of how much some people choose to remain skeptical.
