As Apple does every year, it will bring a new powerful flagship for 2022 as well. Known as iPhone 14, the flagship will be available in four models. It will be the standard iPhone 14 with a display of 6.1 inches, the iPhone 14 Max with a 6.7-inch display, the iPhone 14 Pro with a 6.1-inch display, and the Pro Max version that will have a 6.7-inch display.
Interestingly enough, the Pro and Pro Max versions of the iPhone 14 will have a refresh rate of 120Hz. The ‘iupdate’ YouTube channel now reveals the possible design of the four iPhone 14 models, and you can check out the video below:
The video’s description is also pretty relevant:
This is your first hands-on look at the design of iPhone 14. While the base models are almost aesthetically unchanged year-over-year, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are getting larger camera bumps…and the controversial “i” design.
A piece of information that leaked back in February indicated that iPhone 14 would be featuring 8GB of RAM. At least the Pro version of the four models will have such a high amount of RAM, but the news clearly took us by surprise. 8 gigs of RAM surely represents a lot for a phone even in 2022.
The Korean blogging site Naver says through the voice of leaker “yeux1122,” as AppleInsider.com translates:
[From a] domestic supply chain source, RAM on the iPhone 14 Pro released this year is 8 gigabytes.
They say… the supply with related companies is already confirmed, and scheduling for mass production seems to be proceeding faster, [with] tighter management of supply plans for major parts after COVID-19.
Whatever the truth may be, everyone is expecting for iPhone 14 to make Apple users forget about the predecessor iPhone 13. Only time will tell for sure if it’s an achievable thing.
