If you’ve never imagined yourself as you take advantage of skyscrapers like Spider-Man, it’s really sad. Facing your fear of heights is one sure way to overcome it, and it may also work even if you’re doing it just in your own imagination.

Spider-Man games don’t represent anything new, but surely they can still be improved. Pretty much any game series can be improved. There’s never enough when it comes to gaming, as the standards and demands of the fans always grow.

But have you ever imagined a Spider-Man game running in a mod for Unreal Engine 5? Probably not. That’s why we’re here to show you that dreams can come true:

Here’s IGN’s description for the video:

We’ve seen Superman take his turn at flying around the Matrix Awakens Unreal Engine 5 Experience, so now it’s time for Spidey to get his chance to swing around the city. While the city itself looks photo-realistic of course, Spider-Man himself could use some work. The gameplay itself is a far cry from how smooth Spider-Man feels to control in the Insomniac games, but it’s still a glimpse at what a web-slinging game could look like in Unreal Engine 5.

Marvel’s Spider-Man is the game from 2018 featuring the famous superhero. It was pretty good proof that the character can indeed represent a winning ticket for the gaming industry. The 2018 game is only available for PlayStation consoles. That also obviously includes the current-gen PlayStation 5 console that was released by Sony in late 2020.

A lot of lads are still hoping to see a PC version of the 2018 Spider-Man game, and you know what they say that time solves everything. The developers of the game might still grant their wish someday.

Until that glorious moment, we can delight our eyes with the Unreal Engine 5 mod for Spider-Man!
