Gohan and Piccolo had a lot to struggle against when they needed to confront Cell Max in the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie that came out last year. The film left aside both Goku and Vegeta, who are usually the main heroes in Dragon Ball. Instead, it was the chance for Gohan and Piccolo to try to save the day against new powerful androids.

One of those androids was also an improved version of Cell, the classic villain from Dragon Ball Z. Now known as Cell Max, the monster was more powerful than ever after he was revived by Dr. Hedo, the nephew of Dr. Gero, who was the mad scientist who first created Cell back in DBZ.

A new cutscene from Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 shows both Gohan and Piccolo firing a Special Beam Cannon against Cell Max. That’s one of Piccolo’s finishing moves and signature attacks, and it can be highly devastating. Both Gohan and Piccolo achieved new heights in power back in the Super Hero movie – Goku’s son became Gohan Beast, while the Namekian achieved special powers thanks to Shenron and became Orange Piccolo.

We spoke in a recent article back in late April about how the game added the Gohan Beast transformation to the roster of fighters. Therefore, it’s completely plausible for the players to choose Gohan Beast in order to tackle their opponents, but unlocking the new form of Goku’s son isn’t easy.

Normally, Gohan Beast should be able to compete against his father’s Ultra Instinct form. At the same time, Vegeta’s Ultra Ego form might be just about as powerful as Gohan Beast.

If you want to play Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, you must keep in mind that the game is compatible with multiple platforms: Windows PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia.
