Mario Kart 7, the legendary game where the funny little plumber goes racing, is back in business after more than a decade of inactivity! The game is getting a brand-new update. Who would have ever thought that Mario Kart 7 would be ‘revived’ just in time before the end of 2022?
Eurogamer shared pretty much everything the fans need to know about the new update for Mario Kart 7. Version 1.2 of the game is the first update received in more than a decade, which makes it even more interesting!
The new 1.2 update for Mario Kart 7 mainly fixes a few technical issues of the game. The goal of the fixes is to improve the overall gameplay experience, which means that players should be able to run Mario Kart 7 even smoother than before.
That’s pretty much all the update brings, and although there aren’t any spectacular patch notes, you should definitely consider installing the update if you’re among the fans of the game!
You can buy Mario Kart 7 from Nintendo’s website for the modest price of just $29.99. If you’re willing to learn even more about the game, check out its official description:
The newest installment of the fan-favorite Mario Kart™ franchise brings Mushroom Kingdom racing fun into glorious 3D. For the first time, drivers explore new competitive kart possibilities, such as soaring through the skies or plunging into the depths of the sea. New courses, strategic new abilities and customizable karts bring the racing excitement to new heights.
The file size of the Mario game is 634MB, which is a bit surprising considering that there aren’t any advanced graphics as far as anybody can tell.
Mario Kart 7 is available to play exclusively for Nintendo 3DS, but you should be able to get it running on other platforms as well with the help of some emulators.
