Samsung has issued the Android 12.0-based One UI Core 4.1 upgrade for the Galaxy A12, weeks before the possible launch of the Android 13.0-based One UI 5.0 update for the Galaxy S22 series. We know that the update has been launched in Russia and that it will soon be available in other countries.

Version A125FXXU2CVH1 of the Galaxy A12’s firmware includes the Android 12 update. The current security patch is for August 2022, but this upgrade only includes the patch from July 2022. The update adds numerous new features and enhances the user interface. Samsung provided the One UI Core 4.1 upgrade for the Galaxy A12 based on Android 12 weeks before the possible launch of the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for the Galaxy S22 series. Russia is the first country to receive the update, but other countries should see it in the coming days.

Firmware version A125FXXU2CVH1 is the Android 12 update for the Galaxy A12. Unfortunately, the most recent security patch, released in August 2022, was not included in the update. New functionality and an enhanced user interface are among the many benefits of the update.

When you update your Galaxy A12 to Android 12, you’ll get a new user interface called One UI 4. The major software update for the Galaxy A12 improves the user interface by adding a new Color Palette feature, a new type of widgets, and an improved Dark Mode, besides other features.

Security and privacy have been beefed up with the update. For both the camera and the microphone, the operating system has distinct quick setting toggles for enabling and disabling access. Privacy indications in the top right corner of the screen let you know when an app is actively using the camera or microphone.

Every one of Samsung’s preinstalled apps has been updated with a new look and new features. Whereas the Photo Editor can keep track of your editing history, the Gallery app provides you better tales. Shadows and reflections can also be edited in the program. The interface of the camera app has been streamlined. Anytime the record button is pressed, video is immediately begun. Stickers can be added to calendar events within the app. The charging animation and “Device Care” section have both been updated with new designs.
