Volition prepares a new title in the legendary Saints Row series. In fact, it’s actually a reboot of older games of the series, and it will be simply named Saints Row. If nothing unexpected occurs, the new Saints Row will launch on August 23 for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, as well as for Google Stadia.

Many people have been comparing the Saints Row series to Grand Theft Auto. While we’re conscious that everybody has the right to play anything, we can dare to affirm that Saints Row has been a little better overall, at least for one criterion: entertainment. In Saints Row, things always go wilder and wilder. On the other hand, GTA is more focused on the story, although Rockstar’s series still has an impressive amount of entertainment.

If you want to explore the ultimate Sinners’ playground, you are free to watch the official 4G gameplay overview trailer that just came out:

The main launch date of the upcoming Saints Row game was initially scheduled earlier than August 23, but gladly, there is a compelling explanation.

Jim Boone, the chief creative officer of Volition, stated as gameindustry.biz quotes:

Our priority is to create the best Saints Row game yet and, if we released on the original date, it wouldn’t be up to the standards we’ve set ourselves, and that you’re expecting and deserve,

The team just needs more time to do our vision justice; we’re doing some fine tuning and there won’t be much change in the game outside of overall quality and polish.

The wait is almost over! Saints Row is supposed to come out in less than two weeks, so stay tuned! There are all the reasons to expect the best Saints Row title ever made!
