In FIFA 23, the iconic Icon Cards that have become a trademark of the Ultimate Team mode will return. Here’s a rundown of the returning Icons, as well as a preview of the new Icons that, according to leaks, will be included in the game.

In Ultimate Team, nothing beats the rush you get from packing an Icon card. Players of FIFA 23 will have another opportunity to do so, since the legendary players are expected to remain on Ultimate Team.

The number of possible Icons in FIFA games has grown steadily throughout the years, and FIFA 23 will be no exception. In most games, EA Sports will introduce four new Icons, and names of potential candidates have leaked out.

What follows is a comprehensive guide on using Icon cards in FIFA 23.
The greatest footballers in history are celebrated on trading cards called “icon cards.” To begin, each Icon card comes in three different rarities: regular, uncommon, and legendary. Each rendition celebrates the life and career of the athlete from the moment they first appeared on the scene to the moment they became a worldwide phenomenon.

Aside from their excellent overall ratings, Icon cards also provide cohesion to your team’s players no matter their league or country. They’ll also have close ties to other players from the same country, which is great for mixed teams.

Finding FIFA 22 Icons in packs is challenging but not impossible. Even if lady luck isn’t on your side, there is still a chance to get Icons since EA usually adds Icon SBCs before the end of the year.
Two Icons, Diego Maradona and Marc Overmars, were cut from FIFA 22 for different reasons, and it’s likely that they won’t return for FIFA 23 either. For the most part, the Icon cards that were available in FIFA 22 will again be available in FIFA 23.

Every year, EA generally adds a few new faces. Players in FIFA 22 were given access to Robin Van Persie, Wayne Rooney, Iker Casillas, and Cafu.

David Villa, Alfredo Di Stefano, and Gerd Muller have been mentioned as potential new Icons for FIFA 23 by Ultimate Team leaker DonkTrading. FutSheriff, meanwhile, claims that Xabi Alonso will be an Icon in FIFA 23.
