Fortnite is a worldwide phenomenon, a free-to-play battle royale game where gamers like to compete against each other in the craziest ways they can think of! But even so, finding the right teammate in Fortnite can sometimes be like searching for a needle in the haystack.

What Fortnite player wouldn’t possibly want to be matched with the right person? It’s just like on dating apps: the thing simply doesn’t work if you match with the wrong person.

The Social Tags are coming to Fortnite!

Epic Games spoke about the new Social Tags in a blog post. The feature will let you choose your playing style so that you’ll receive a partner that treats things in the game in a similar way.

For the moment, the new feature is still in its testing phase, so make sure you keep an eye on the news for future information on the subject!

Epic Games explains more:

Express how you play Fortnite! With the new option to add social tags to your profile, select up to three for other players to see. You can choose tags that express your favorite game mode(s) (2v2, Deathrun, Free For All, etc.), your gameplay vibe(s) (Chill, Mic Off, Mic On, etc.), and your preferred competitive event(s) (Cosmetic Cup, Hype Cup, Lightning Cup, etc.). You’ll also be recommended Fortnite experiences based on your social tags.

The guys from Epic Games who are responsible for the development of Fortnite never seem to take a break from bringing new stuff to the famous battle royale title. For instance, they added a secret door known as “DaDoor” in Chapter 3 Season 3.

You can play Fortnite on either one of the following platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, Android, iOS, and macOS.
