Apex Legends comes with a big surprise for us: Control Mode. But what is Control Mode?
Season 12 of Apex Legends will soon be here, and it already comes with brand new content. We’re getting a new Legend – Mad Maggie. But that’s not all we’re getting. We’re also getting a new mode called Control Mode – and it will be here for a limited time. It seems to be quite similar to “capture the flag”. It will have the largest team of Legends ever seen in these 12 seasons, and the rules are also different.
We’re here to tell you everything you need to know about the Control Mode.
What’s it about?
Control Mode is a new limited-time mode in Apex Legends. There will be two teams of nine Legends trying to take control of different areas on the map. You and your team will receive points based on how long you stay alive, how many areas you get to control, and how long you control the area. The team that has the most points will win, even if the other team controls more areas. It’s all about the points, don’t forget.
If one of your teammates is killed, you can choose where to respawn him. But the longer you stay alive, the more points you and your team will earn.
When is the release date?
The release date for it is the 8th of February, 2022. Make sure you choose the proper Legend and the right weapons.
Everyone is waiting for this new mode, and it has great potential. If it goes without trouble, it might be a permanent addition. Who wouldn’t love it alongside Battle Royale and the Arenas.
