miHoYo has announced that they started getting players for the Genshin Impact 2.6 Private Beta Test. This version is the one that’s supposed to feature Kamisato Ayato. We are here to tell you everything you need to know about it.
There are numerous leakers who have talked about Kamisato Ayato being part of the 2.6 version. Uncle Dumb Dumb has also mentioned that Yae Miko would be in 2.5 and Kamisato Ayato in 2.6, and Uncle Dumb Dumb is hardly ever wrong. Indeed, Yae was officially confirmed for 2.5, which makes Uncle Dumb Dumb even more credible. But this was one of his final leaks before getting banned from NGA.
Now, on the 18th of January, another leaker has mentioned Ayato for 2.6 – which means he will be here for the Beta.
Can I sign up for the beta test?
Of course you can. First of all, you need to join the official Discord server for Genshin Impact, and go to the #genshin-announcements channel. That’s where you’ll find the sign-up form. You need to be over 18 years old to join, as minors cannot participate in the Beta program. You also need a valid ID – either a passport or a driver’s license work as well. The deadline is January 20, 2022, on Thursday.
What to do next
If you do get picked, you need to take into account a few aspects. The most important one is the NDA – do not break it under any circumstance. A Chinese player has to pay a lot of money for breaking it, and you don’t want that to happen to you, too. There are many ways to track down a leaker, and it’s easier than you’d think.
Your job will be to give feedback to developers. Take it as volunteer work.
