It seems like Xiaomi is getting ready to make its worldwide premiere of the Xiaomi 13 Lite, Xiaomi 13, and Xiaomi 13 Pro at MWC, the company’s big flagship event. However, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be released in a few months instead, and it may be joined by the Band 8, since the manufacture of the fitness band has apparently already begun. In May of 2017, Xiaomi introduced its Band 7 to the market. The smart band was originally introduced in China, and then it became available everywhere else in June. As the majority of people would anticipate, a successor is on the road, and a recent leak seems to indicate that it will be released very soon.

Mukul Sharma, the source of the leak, claims that Xiaomi has started manufacture of a new fitness band, which is most likely the Band 8. According to rumors, the introduction of the Xiaomi Band 8 is getting closer all the time, which isn’t unexpected when one considers the launch dates of the devices in the series’ earlier iterations. The Mi Band 7 was released in May, the Mi Band 6 was introduced in the end of March, and the Mi Band 5 was introduced towards the beginning of June. According to all of the information that we currently have, the Xiaomi Band 8 will be released sometime during the second quarter.

Although it is not yet confirmed, there is a possibility that the Xiaomi Band 8 will be released at the same time as the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. It is possible that the Xiaomi Pad 6 series will be introduced alongside both of these smartphones at the same launch event. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra will not be released this month, as was originally claimed; instead, it is most likely being prepared for a debut in April or May of this year. This is corroborated by a recent leak, which claims that Xiaomi would announce the Xiaomi 13 Lite, Xiaomi 13, and Xiaomi 13 Pro in Barcelona, but not the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
