Dataminers have found some important information in the Battlefield 2042 data. This information shows the highlights of Season 1, such as the new gadget for specialists and a new map.

DICE is planning to release the first season of Battlefield 2042 next month. They hope that this will bring the game back to life and bring players back to EA’s latest multiplayer hit, which had a rough start.

Even though DICE recently announced that Season 1 of Battlefield 2042 would have some important changes, they didn’t say anything about the new content coming to the game.

Hopefully, a dataminer has found some exciting hints about Season 1 that will reveal its name and show how the new specialist looks and the new map.

In Season 1 of Battlefield 2042, the new Specialist will have a Guided Rocket Launcher as their special weapon. The leak says that Season 1 will be called “Zero Hour,” and it will start with a Polish expert named Ewelina Lis, who has a Guided Rocket Launcher as her special gadget.

Also, the game will get a pair of stealth helicopters with two seats. Every faction in the game will get one of the helicopters, and even though they look different, their stats should be the same.

Battlefield 2042 will get a new map called Black Ridge in Season 1. The leak doesn’t say where the map is set, but it was said to be in Canada.

There are two new modes

Last but not least, Season 1 will add a Premium Battle Pass and two new modes: Exposure Conquest 24/7 and Exposure Mayhem:

  • Exposure 24/7: Jump into the action and join the battle for Black Ridge
  • Exposure Mayhem: All Exposure, all the time. The newest map comes with faster projectile and movement speed, quicker vehicle spawn, and faster deployment

Season 1 of Battlefield 2042 will be available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
