Source: windowscentral.com

We all know that Battlefield 2042 Hazard Zone will soon be here, and the trailer looks promising. We have written this article to give you everything you need to know about the Hazard Zone.

The trailer shows us we’re in for a treat.

So what is the Hazard Zone?

Battlefield 2042 Hazard Zone is a game mode, a survival one. Four squads are dropped into a map, and they need to find data all over it.

It all starts in 2042 when satellites in the sky are 70% because of a worldwide blackout. So these satellites are in the low orbits, and they collect a lot of data – photos, ID scanning, and plenty of other stuff. But the satellites were brought down by the US and Russia, and you need to find the intel. Without getting killed. You will be fighting AI enemies and nature, as well. And you won’t have many resources.

You need to keep in mind the Intel Scanner, and you need to bring it with you, as it will help you gather all the data you need about the location of the drives.

The game ends when your squad dies or when you extract at one of the two extraction points. The second extraction is actually your last chance. Only two squads can survive it, so make sure you know your tactics.

The market credits

The market credits are the in-game currency that you earn when you successfully extract data drives intact. You will get even more credit based on how many data drives you have collected. They will turn into XP for unlocks. You can unlock guns, or you can get more Tactical Upgrades before the match.

How long is a match?

The final extraction will occur between 10 to 12 minutes after the match starts. The matches are pretty quick.
