Apex Legends is one of the most popular games out there at the moment, as it counts over 100 million players who prefer running it on the ‘big screens.’ Therefore, it seemed more and more like just a matter of time until a mobile version of the famous free-to-play battle royale shooter would be released.

We’re glad to announce that the moment has finally come! According to nationalworld.com, Apex Legends finally received a mobile version for those willing to play the game on their phones.

It’s not actually the same game

The first and foremost thing you need to know is that Apex Legends on the phone won’t be the same game as it is on the bigger screens. There are some noticeable differences. But still, the mobile version will also bring you classical elements of the game such as weapons, maps, Team Deathmatch, Arenas, and Legends.

Here’s some interesting things that Grenier said, the former game director of Apex Legends, as quoted by nationalworld.com:

We’ve built a dedicated team here at Respawn filled with experts in mobile game development to lead the creation of Apex Legends Mobile,

But it’s a collaborative effort with our established Apex Legends team and other partners.

Here’s how the Google Play Store describes the mobile game:

Set within the immersive Apex Legends™ universe, Apex Legends Mobile is a strategy battle royale shooter game that features Legendary character-based gameplay, best-in-class squad battles, and fast-paced combat that cemented the game’s place as one of the top shooters, all in a mobile package.

As you’ve probably already guessed, Apex Legends Mobile is available for both Android devices and iPhones. If you want to run the game on an iPhone, you’ll just have to download it from Apple’s App Store.
