Apex Legends comes with an in-game currency that’s called Crafting Metals. You can use them to customize your characters. The skins can be customized to make them fit you properly. It is the perfect way to make it more personal, and we’re here to show you how to get skins.

Skins are the perfect way to customize your character, and there are a few ways to get them. You will need money for some of them, and here is all we know about it.

Crafting the skins

Before actually making the skins, you will need to collect enough crafting metals. They can be found in Apex Packs, and you can earn them by ranking up. You can also buy them with real money. The materials can be found in four rarities:

  • Common, about 15
  • Rare, about 30
  • Epic, about 200
  • Legendary, about 600

After you get all you need, you can convert them into the items of your choice. And you will spend a lot of time working on it. Legendary skins cost about 1200 Crafting Metals, so you do the math.

In order to craft the skin, go to the main menu of the game and then select the “Legends” tab at the top. Select the one you want to create, and you’ll be brought to the skin screen. Take a look at all of the options – you can click on them to preview what the skin looks like on your character. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see the option to craft the skin you want.

There are four tiers of skins

  • Common, with 30 crafting metals
  • Rare, with 60 crafting metals
  • Epic, with 400 crafting metals
  • Legendary, with 1200 crafting metals

Apex Packs

You can also collect a few skins for free when you pen Apex Packs. They will either be common or rare, but from time to time, you will get your hands on legendary ones.
