Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ Nature Day event will be here in April, and it is bound to celebrate Earth Day. This event is an annual one, celebrated all over the world, with the goal of supporting environmental protection. The real-life event is super special, and it’s honoring the planet we live on.

The event was first celebrated back in 1970, and it now includes more than 193 countries. It is one of the biggest events to happen in the game, so what will happen this year?

When is the event taking place?

Last year, Nature Day began on the 22nd of April, and it lasted for two weeks. It will coincide with the real-world celebration.

What’s happening during this event?

Nature day first came with Leif the Sloth, a gardener who sold shrubs and crops for you to grow on your island. There will be lots of activities during this event, and you get the chance to win rewards themed as such.

  • Plant A Coconut Tree On The Beach – 150 miles
  • Wear A Flower – 150 Miles
  • Plant Three Shrubs – 200 miles
  • Mail Flowers To Friends – 200 Miles
  • Plant Three [specific flower] Bulbs – 200 Miles
  • Craft A Wreath – 300 miles
  • Craft A Flower Crown – 300 Miles
