Battlefield 2042 was released, and we can all agree that it was not what we all expected. There are plenty of ways to enjoy it, Hazard Zone still rocks, but the game has many problems developers need to solve. But don’t worry, EA has made an announcement that’s going to change everything about the Battlefield Universe.
EA still wants to give its best with this game, and they will offer more support for the current game, as well as possible other future games in the franchise. There will also be major changes in management – there’s one particular person that’s going to leave their mark on the game, and players will be thrilled.
New changes in management
EA is working on a Battlefield Universe, which is bound to include many games developed by numerous studios across the US and Europe. Respawn’s Vince Zampella will take after the Battlefield franchise – of course, while still being the boss of Overwatch.
But he’s not the only one joining the team. Halo designer Marcus Lehto wants to start a studio that’s going to come up with new storylines for the Universe. This comes as great news, especially since there was no single-player campaign for Battlefield 2042. We all know how we felt about that, but we also know that someone listens. EA has taken a look at our feedback, and they’re ready to make some changes.
The company will also continue to work on Battlefield 2042 – and Zampella will be a big part of it, and of future entries in the franchise.
Battlefield 2042 is available for PS4, Ps5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC.
