The game is not as big as we all expected, and it should be very easy for you to download it in no time. But if you still find yourself struggling, here are some tips and tricks to help you.
Close all apps and games
Every app and game opened on your console, PC, or mobile will slow down your device and your update. Some of the apps will take priority over the update, and you don’t want that to happen. Make sure you close them – this will guarantee fast speeds.
Rest mode
If your console is turned on, it will use a lot of „energy” to check on the notifications. But when you put it into Rest Mode, the update should be done in a blink of an eye. Also, make sure you turn on the automatic downloads and that you select the ‘Stay Connected to the Internet’ option.
Use a wired connection
This is the best shot you can get – use a wired connection, as it will increase your download speeds. You can use an Ethernet cable and plug it into the console or the PC.
But if you don’t have this kind of cable, you can just move closer to the WiFi router.
Don’t download it at peak times
We know that you want to play it as soon as possible – as we all do – but try to schedule the download process. See when there are fewer people online, and then let it download. It will speed up the process, and you won’t have to wait long until you can play it.
