Thanks to MacRumors, there’s fresh new information about what the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro model could be capable of. If you’re one of those numerous Apple fans out there, we must say that you should definitely wait for the iPhone 15 series to launch more than ever!
iPhone 15 Pro’s capacitive buttons are something else
There are new details about the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. It has been rumored that the phones will have capacitive buttons, which will be triggered the same way when the phone is dead or powered down. The new microprocessor will replace Apple’s current “Super Low Energy Mode” and will manage small tasks like Apple Pay and Bluetooth connectivity.
The microprocessor will also be able to sense capacitive button presses, holds, and detect its own version of 3D Touch, even when the phone is dead or powered down. The microprocessor will also take on the Find My, Bluetooth/UW, and Apple Pay express card features, greatly improving power consumption during downtime.
The volume buttons will also have new features, such as faster volume control depending on the amount of force applied, or control by swiping the finger up or down on the volume rocker. It is uncertain which feature will make it to full iOS production, but the 3D-touch buttons are definite. The microprocessor is definite too, and will focus on managing the device when it’s powered down or off.
