It’s just a matter of months until Apple will release its flagship phone lineup of 2022 to the world: the iPhone 14 models. We’re expecting the new iPhones to arrive at some point around September or October, and there’s already a lot of reliable information about what to expect from those future gadgets.

According to Gordon Kelly, a Senior Contributor at Forbes, all iPhone 14 models will be sporting the M12 OLED material set of Samsung for their displays. The information was provided to Kelly by Ross Young, who is CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), to be more precise.

M12 is pretty interesting since it brings improved display performance and color accuracy. It’s even more efficient when it comes to energy.

The information we keep getting about the capabilities of the iPhone 14 lineup seems to justify more and more the expected prices that will be pretty high. How high? Well, higher than normally expected!

Dan Ives, head of the Wedbush Securities analyst group, explained a while ago for The Sun:

We believe a $100 price increase is coming for the iPhone 14,

Prices have been increasing across the whole supply chain, and Cupertino needs to pass these costs to the consumer on this release.

Therefore, we should prepare to pull out a decent amount of money from our pockets if we’re willing to use either one of the upcoming iPhone 14 models. Here’s just how much, judging by other info we have:

  • iPhone 14: $899
  • iPhone 14 Max: $999
  • iPhone 14 Pro: $1099
  • iPhone 14 Pro Max: $1199

Will such an investment be worth it? Probably yes, considering that at least for the Pro and Pro Max versions of iPhone 14, there will be an A16 Bionic processor, meaning perhaps the most powerful chipset built by Apple.

Which one of the upcoming iPhone 14 models are you interested in the most and why? Feel free to tell us in the comment section!
