Dragon Ball Super is still alive thanks to its manga version, but even so, it won’t last too long. That’s because its storyline is approaching the end of Dragon Ball Z. For those unaware, the story in Super takes place during a 10-year plot hole from Dragon Ball Z. That still confuses a lot of Dragon Ball fans, as the story in Super doesn’t seem to match the one from Z.
According to ScreenRant, Chapter 88 of the Dragon Ball Super Manga reveals how much time there is left before the story reaches the end of Z. The reveal seems to have been done by confirming the age of Pan, the daughter of Gohan.
Just one year away
In the final episodes of Dragon Ball Z, when Goku & co were preparing for the Martial Arts Tournament and encountered Uub, Pan was four years old. But in Dragon Ball Super, the young girl is three years old. This means that the manga is just one year away until the ending of Dragon Ball Z.
Even the original Dragon Ball creator, Akira Toriyama himself, confirmed that the events from the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie take place right before the end of Dragon Ball Z.
How strong is Pan?
Pan is a young girl with a lot of potential for strength and power, but at the time when she is introduced in the series, she is still very young and has not yet reached her full potential.
Throughout the series, Pan is shown to be a strong and capable fighter, but she is not yet at the same level as some of the more experienced and powerful characters, such as Goku, Vegeta, or Trunks. Despite this, she is able to hold her own in fights and is able to defeat some of the weaker enemies that she faces.
As she grows older and continues to train, Pan’s strength and power continue to increase, and she becomes a competent warrior in her own right. In the Dragon Ball GT series, which takes place many years after the events of the main series, Pan hops into a long space journey throughout the Galaxy to gather the dragon balls along with Trunks and her grandfather Goku.
Who is Uub
Uub is the reincarnation of the evil Majin Buu, who was defeated by Goku at the end of the “Majin Buu” arc. Uub is introduced as a timid boy who lives in the countryside with his grandmother. He is revealed to have a vast potential for power and is trained by Goku to become a strong warrior.
Uub makes his first appearance in the series during the “Kid Buu” arc, where he is revealed to be the reincarnation of Majin Buu. After Majin Buu’s defeat, the good Buu’s magic was used to create Uub, who was born with all of Buu’s incredible strength but without any of his evil tendencies.
Uub is initially very timid and lacks confidence in his abilities, but he gradually becomes more confident as he trains with Goku. He is a kind and caring person, but he is also fiercely loyal to those he considers friends. As he grows stronger, Uub becomes a formidable warrior and is able to hold his own against some of the strongest characters in the series.
Overall, Uub is an important character in the Dragon Ball series and plays a significant role in the later arcs of the story. Despite his fearsome power, he is a kind and compassionate person who always tries to do the right thing.
