Even though the fans of The Witcher 3 have been craving for the next-gen update, you know that looks can sometimes be deceiving. Due to the recent update, players of the game built by CD Project Red have been facing stuttering, massive frame drops, and crashes.

The devs have now released a hotfix to solve the problems produced by the update in question, and if you’re a player, you should grab it ASAP and see if the issues have gone away!

The Witcher 3 hotfix is available exclusively for the PC

Those who prefer The Witcher 3 on other platforms except for the PC will have more to wait for their problems with the game to go away. The big announcement was brought in a tweet, and there’s no reason to be skeptical:

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an open-world action role-playing game developed by CD Projekt Red and released in 2015. The game is based on the Witcher series of novels and short stories by Andrzej Sapkowski and follows the story of Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter known as a Witcher, as he searches for his adoptive daughter Ciri while battling against the Wild Hunt, a group of spectral riders who are after Ciri’s powers.

The game’s open world is filled with a wide variety of quests and activities, including main story missions, side quests, and Witcher contracts, which task players with hunting down and defeating various monsters. The game’s combat system is also highly praised, with players having the ability to use a variety of weapons, spells, and abilities to defeat their enemies.

In addition to its gameplay, The Witcher 3 also boasts a compelling narrative with well-developed characters and branching storylines that are influenced by the player’s choices. The game’s characters are fully voiced and the game features over 1000 pages of dialogue, making it one of the most well-written games in the industry.
