Like many popular Japanese manga and light novel series, Redo of Healer (or Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi) began as a light novel series. But it was in the winter of 2021 that the anime version of the same name was published, and it has since gained a global fanbase. Rui Tsukiyo’s light novel has been turned into an anime by the TNK studio.

Kadokawa, the publisher of the Light novels, and TNK, the animation studio, have not yet renewed the show for a second season as of September 5, 2022. Redo of Healer premiered on January 13, 2021, and ended on March 31, 2021, for its first season. Season finales of popular anime usually include a renewal for a second season. The Redo of Healer animation did not make the cut, unfortunately. Many years may pass between seasons of an anime, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be resurrected. It seems quite soon for a second season of Redo of Healer to be approved, given the premiere date of the first season. Though official updates are few at the moment, it is feasible to make educated guesses about whether or not the show will return for a second season based on certain criteria. Similar evaluations and fiscal judgments are made by the decision group responsible for anime renewals. Consequently, the likelihood of a new season of the anime may be predicted with reasonable accuracy.

On Twitter, Rui Tsukiyo often expresses his desire for the show to continue selling well so that he may produce a second season. People listened to his remarks and bought more of his albums as a result. Tsukiyo keeps the options open despite the fact that no major successes have been accomplished, which raises the likelihood of a second season.

The original novel

Light novelist Rui Tsukiyo and manga artist Shiokonbu created the series’ original work. Kadokawa Shoten’s reprint of the light novel Healer began on July 1, 2017, and as of now there are nine volumes available. A manga version of the series is currently under production. As a result, there will be more episodes of the anime to come and further seasons will be feasible. Unfortunately, there is no English publisher for the manga series thus yet, therefore it has only been released in Japan. On January 23, 2022, Tsukiyo tweeted that a foreign publisher had turned down the opportunity to translate and publish the manga series into English. In addition, he suggested that things may shift in the not-too-distant future.
