Dragon Age: Dreadwolf To be Available on Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC Hopefully with a New Feature

Developer BioWare is collaborating with publisher EA for the future release of ‘Dragon Age: Dreadwolf’ or ‘Dragon Age 4,’ depending on how you wish to call it. It’s the successor of ‘Dragon Age: Inquisition,’ and it is expected for the usual platforms: Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC.

It wasn’t until June that the upcoming Dragon Age game got its official name of Dreadwolf. Until that moment, it was anybody’s guess how the new game in the series will be called.

Bring back the Blood Dragon Armor!

The previous game, known as ‘Dragon Age: Inquisition’, didn’t have the Blood Dragon Armor that was present in the first two games of the series. It was a very interesting feature, and the fans loved it.

The Blood Armor was so definitive for the Dragon Age universe that it was even present in the Mass Effect series as well. Unsurprisingly, both the Dragon Age and Mass Effect series have a common developer: BioWare.

To make things even worse, there seemed to be no explanation for the absence of the Blood Dragon Armor from Inquisition. But we’re expecting that to change in Dreadwolf, or at least that’s what the fans are craving for.

There’s a cinematic trailer available for the next Dragon Age game ever since the Game Awards from 2020, and you are free to feast your eyes on it below:

Mark Darrah, who is the executive producer, explained in a BioWare blog post:

“Hey everyone, we have been working on a new Dragon Age game for quite a while now and I am pleased to finally tease the existence of this project,

“While we won’t be sharing any details for now, I can tell you we have been building a new team around a core of Dragon Age veterans, people I’ve worked with on Dragon Age, Jade Empire, and some of whom I’ve worked with since the Baldur’s Gate days. I’m so excited to show you more!”
