Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness: Tom Cruise Could Be Playing Superior Iron Man

A teaser regarding Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness supports the assumption that Iron Man will appear in the film. For the first time, the character who has been rumored to really be Superior Iron Man can be clearly seen in the latest Doctor Strange 2 trailer. While watching this year’s Super Bowl LVI, many fans assumed that American Actor Cruise would be portraying Superior Iron Man in the Multiverse of Madness trailer. This is a Tony Stark clone who hides his flaws and is more concerned with his ego, money, and personal gain than he is with heroism. The latest commercial offers an improved glimpse of the character, whose entrance does resemble that of the armor Avenger.

Superior Iron Man speculations were batted down by Multiverse of Madness director Richie Palmer in mid-March, saying that he might well want to see Tony again but that certain things are merely speculation. Palmer used the fact that Spider-Man performers Tobey Maguire & Andrew Garfield were in the film Spider-Man: No Way Home to argue that certain rumors were true while others are not. Even still, Garfield’s No Way Home fans will recall that he first refused to appear in the film but later agreed to do so.

In addition, Palmer said that the Illuminati, a group of Marvel superheroes from the books, has not been proved to exist in the Multiverse of Madness. It’s possible that the Illuminati will be inducted into the fortune in a more MCU-inspired way, rather than merely copying the publications. An article in Empire magazine a few days after that revealed that the Illuminati would appear in the Doctor Strange sequel.

Comic Book fans will have no question to be excited for Doctor Strange 2. The movie brings about a whole new environment and new dimensions for the Sorcerer Supreme. With familiar personalities like Tony Stark, Stephen Strange’s move to the Multiverse of Madness is brimming with what to anticipate.
