Surely anybody who initiated a live stream via Instagram knows that awful feeling when an intruder comes to say something else but praise for your content. That’s completely unacceptable, which is why the platform has those magical buttons to block and delete those unwanted comments.

But the Facebook-owned social network wants to take it one step forward. Creators will soon receive a lot of help in fighting those pesky viewers. Instagram announced the implementation of moderators for live streams. Content creators will get to designate a person in charge to remove a viewer, remove his comments, or even make him unable to post commentsanymoree.

Over recent years, Instagram has gained a lot more popularity, and it will perhaps continue likewise for a lot of time. If we take a look at the app’s description from the Google Play Store, we could understand why it’s so popular:

Instagram (from Facebook) allows you to create and share your photos, stories, and videos with the friends and followers you care about. Connect with friends, share what you’re up to, or see what’s new from others all over the world. Explore our community where you can feel free to be yourself and share everything from your daily moments to life’s highlights.

According to Statista, Instagram counts roughly one billion users that are active every month. That’s huge for a social network that was acquired by another. Facebook bought Instagram ten years ago, and it paid an incredible amount of $1 billion. It’s interesting to see if Instagram can become even more popular than Facebook, but as for now, the former is doing great when it comes to bringing exciting updates.

What do you think? Will you feel safer than ever while using Instagram, along with the possibility of employing moderators?
