Elden Ring: Developers Will Make Proper Changes

Elden Ring has received positive reviews from critics, but fans were the ones that we’re disappointed in the game. It seems that there are plenty of glitches and performance issues on PC.

These issues are present on both the PC and the console versions, and it’s crystal clear that the PC community has much more problems than the console does. But, as always, FromSoftware takes into account all of the feedback, and they have issued a statement regarding these problems.

FromSoftware has thanked fans for their feedback, and then they have apologized for the inconveniences they have caused.

The problem stood in the general performance of the PC version, as well as the server framerate issues. There were also problems with the Easy Anti-Cheat program that launched on startup.

Here is what the company plans to fix:

  • Mouse being too sensitive on PC
  • Easy Anti-Cheat failing to launch when the Steam account name is set to 2-byte characters
  • General framrate and performance related issues during Elden Ring gameplay on PC
  • PlayStation 5 game data not saving correctly

According to the gaming studio, many of these problems will be fixed in a future patch. Developers have also said that updating GPU drivers may fix the framerate issues on PC. PlayStation 5 users have already seen the message in which they are asked to shut down the game correctly and save the progress as frequently as possible, so there won’t be any loses. Keep in mind that you can save a lot of time if you quit the game using the ‘Option’ button and selecting ‘Quit Game’.
