It seems that 2K and Take-Two Interactive have entered a partnership with Netflix. And after years of speculation, Bioshock will finally receive its own movie.

Netflix wants to bring the series on the screens, and we’re excited about the outcome.

Details about the movie

As of now, we’re not sure whether it will be a live-action or an animated movie. But we do know for sure that it will come with a big budget for visual effects, unusual creatures and design.

Bioshock is not the only one that’s been taken by Netflix. Pokémon, and Assassin’s Creed will also get live-action adaptations. And after Castlevania, we will see Splinter Cell and Lara Croft in animated shows.

Cuphead is the latest on the list, and it premiered just a few days ago. We’re seeing Cuphead and Mugman on their adventures on the Inkwell Isles.

When talking about the game, Bioshock will receive its fourth entry. Cloud Chamber will be the one developing it and it seems that it will be created by using Unreal Engine 5, and there’s a chance it might be an open-world game.

2K has retweeted Netlix’s announcement, and reassured fans that the project is a work in progress. The company has also asked potential candidates to join their team.
