Scream 5 Gets Top Box Office Position, Defeats Spider-Man: No Way Home

The Scream franchise has been going for over 25 years, with each installment growing weirder and scarier. The latest installment of the franchise was recently published, and it has knocked down Spider-Man: No Way Home from the top spot at the box office. For anyone who doesn’t remember, Spider-Man: No Way Home was the highest-grossing film of 2021, and its run in theaters has now come to a close as audiences have moved on to other films, one of which being Scream.

Now it’s time to talk about the film itself. Fans who have followed the series for a long time understand that the Scream films are packed with enough tension and terror to make you feel afraid. However, because it is being released over a decade later, fans are even more enthusiastic. So far, all of the aspects in the film are positive, and it has achieved a 7.4 rating on IMDb and a 76 percent rating on Rotten tomatoes, two sites that truly reflect how the public reacted to the film.

The most recent film is now linked to the first installment, which was launched in 1996. A new Ghostface arises 25 years after the initial series of killings in Woodsboro, and Sidney Prescott has returned to investigate the truth. As a result, we will be able to observe the beginnings, why, and how in this film.

Are there going to be any more Scream films? Yes, because Scream is only a person who wears the mask of Scream, there might be more, but until Scream publishes its film, there is no way of knowing when or if the next installment will be released. The only way to find out whether there will be a new film is to put it on hold for a decade.
