Although Xiaomi has been plenty of years in the front row of companies that create flagship smartphones, the Chinese brand is eager to make a splash once again through the launch of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The world has already seen the releases of the standard Xiaomi 13, the Xiaomi 13 Pro, and the Xiaomi 13 Lite, but there’s room for even more.
Although some groups were eager to make Xiaomi call off its initiative of launching the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the Chinese brand is going all out, and the launch is scheduled a lot earlier than many folks were expecting.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra launches on April 18
The launch event for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is scheduled for less than a week away, on April 18. The announcement comes straight from the Chinese company itself, which means that there’s no use being any skeptical or look for other online sources for confirmation.

The upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra will likely feature not one, not two, not three, but four camera lenses, as GSMArena reveals. Each one of those lenses will reach 50MP. There will be the main camera powered by a Sony IMX 989 sensor, a 50MP ultrawide angle camera, as well as two telephoto lenses of 50MP each.
Considering that the standard Xiaomi 13 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, meaning the most powerful chipset that exists on Android-based phones, the Ultra version of the flagship phone cannot possibly be anywhere below that threshold. We can expect to see the same processor and a larger display than the 6.36-inch one that exists on the standard Xiaomi 13.
As far as we can tell, Xiaomi won’t be putting the brakes in the near future and will continue to manufacture powerful and affordable smartphones. Stay tuned to find out the latest news about the plans of the Chinese brand!
