In 2008, the fourth installment of the FATAL FRAME / PROJECT ZERO franchise, known as “Mask of the Lunar Eclipse,” was released in Japan. With upgraded graphics, the series masterpiece is being revived after the successful remastering of “Maiden of Black Water.”
During a festival on Rogetsu Isle, a group of children vanished under strange circumstances and returned years later as teenagers with no memories of their past. Armed with the Camera Obscura, a powerful device capable of capturing and sealing terrifying entities, and a weak beam of light from their flashlight, the girls explore various locations while battling malevolent spirits, all in an attempt to uncover the truth about their chilling history.
