The Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro are very close to reaching their second year of availability, but the company has not yet revealed any replacements. There have been reports of two unannounced smartwatches being seen at a regulatory authority, and those reports imply that Huawei might be in the last phases of development for both the Watch 4 and the Watch 4 Pro.
After recently launching the Watch GT Cyber in markets outside of China, it would seem that Huawei is getting ready to launch an even greater number of smartwatches. The Watch 3 Pro and Watch GT 3 Pro are expected to be released in June 2021 and April 2022, respectively, marking Huawei’s departure from the company’s custom of releasing new flagship smartwatches in the spring. Alternately, the business displays wearables like the Watch GT 3 and Watch GT 2 Pro during autumn hardware events. These events take place in the fall.
Huawei has reportedly received certification for the Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro from a Wi-Fi regulatory agency that has not been announced by Huawei Ailesi. According to the website, Huawei has given the codename ‘Arch’ to the Watch 4, which it has shortened to ARC. In contrast, Huawei Ailesi asserts that the Watch 4 Pro is known by the codename Medusa, which can also be written as the acronym MDS with only three characters.
It has been said that Huawei might release the Watch 4 together with the Watch 4 Pro and the Watch 4 Ultimate at the same time. A third wristwatch in the Watch 4 series is still just a rumor at this point; Huawei has not even certified a third model in the Watch 4 series yet. In spite of this, Huawei Ailesi maintains that the Watch 4 series will come with HarmonyOS 3, which was first introduced in the summer of last year in an updated version of the Watch 3 Pro. Other information, such as the design, specs, and price of the Watch 4 series, is yet unclear.
