The Netflix app on iOS allows users to stream a wide variety of TV shows and movies on their iPhone or iPad. It also allows users to download titles for offline viewing and has a feature called “Smart Downloads,” which automatically deletes an episode after it is watched and downloads the next one.
Additionally, users can create and manage multiple profiles, and the app will recommend content based on their viewing history. The app is also integrated with the TV app, which allows users to continue watching shows or movies on other devices.
The new Netflix overhaul changes the UI and adds fluid animations on iOS
The Netflix app for iOS is receiving a fresh overhaul of its user interface, including smooth animations, and XDA tells us more. The new design prominently displays a movie or TV show on the homescreen with an engaging card, with additional recommendations in carousels following it. The card also boasts a new animation that uses the iPhone’s accelerometer for a parallax effect.
But the animations and visual effects don’t aren’t the only new changes. The app’s filtering, profile switching, and search functions are now readily accessible at all times, regardless of where you are in the app, making it even easier to find the perfect content.
