Why are retro games still so darn fun to play? Well, it could be because they give us all the feels. Remember that game you used to play when you were a kid? The one that made you feel like you were on top of the world? Playing it now can transport you right back to those carefree days, and who wouldn’t want a little bit of that magic in their life?
Or maybe it’s because modern games are just too darn complicated. Don’t get us wrong, we love a good open-world RPG as much as the next person, but sometimes it’s nice to just kick back with a simple game that doesn’t require a PhD to understand.
Finally, it could be because retro games are like a window into the past. They give us a glimpse into what gaming was like back in the day, and it’s interesting to see how far we’ve come (or in some cases, how far we haven’t). So go ahead and dust off that old console, and have a blast with some good old-fashioned pixelated fun.
Sol Cresta’s Legendary Fighters DLC is OUT NOW!
Sol Cresta is not exactly a retro game, as it was released this year, but it surely looks like one! PlatinumGames, meaning both the developer and publisher responsible for Sol Cresta, released a brand new trailer to reveal the arrival of the new Legendary Fighters DLC:
If you’re willing to play Sol Cresta, you must have either a Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, or Windows PC. As you’ve probably already guessed, the system requirements are more than decent. If you’re aiming for the PC version of the game, you must have at least a graphics card such as GeForce GT 630 (VRAM 1GB), 4GB of RAM, and a processor that’s at least as good as Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-7100 CPU @ 3.90GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.9GHz.
