A lot of phones have kept receiving the Android 13 update since Google released the latest version of its mobile operating system back in August. Now, it’s time for Phones having the ‘Realme’ logo on them to follow suit.
Thanks to Gizmochina, we now find out that the Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 update arrives in stable form for the Realme 9 Pro+. Although we’re not exactly talking about a top smartphone, the 9 Pro+ device from Realme has been selling like hotcakes since its launch back in February 2022.
Watch out for build number RMX3392_11_C.05
If you own a Realme 9 Pro+ phone, you must wait patiently for the new update to arrive. This means that you should keep your phone connected to a WiFi network. The update in question has the build number RMX3392_11_C.05.
However, it will still take a few days for the update to reach everyone. Those users who are enrolled in the beta program are the first ones who will get it.
The update brings some interesting new features. It adds a redesigned notification panel, a more modern-looking animation engine, as well as an enhanced haptic experience. It’s also worth keeping in mind that the new software update will definitely take quite a bite from your device’s storage: over 5GB, to be more precise.
Realme 9 Pro+ still has some pretty solid specs. The phone’s strongholds are represented by the Super AMOLED display, the 6 to 8GB of RAM, the 50MP main camera that’s also able to record 4K video, and more. Those are clearly midrange specs, indeed, but they can still be enough for those who don’t necessarily want the best from a smartphone.
When you wish to check if the new Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 update has arrived on your Realme 9 Pro+ device, all you have to do is head over to Settings >> About Phone, and ultimately tap on Check for updates.
