Pokemon fans didn’t hesitate one moment to jump on the new Scarlet and Violet game and start playing it as soon as it became available back in November. Developed by Game Freak and published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo, the new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet RPG has a lot in store for the fans.
A new location guide for Ditto now became available, and it might not be as hard as it seems to get your hands on the famous Pokemon from Generation I. Despite being a normal type Pokemon, Ditto has the incredible ability to transform itself into any other Pokemon and copy its abilities, which will be the creature’s trump card.
Find Ditto Ditto in West Province Area Two and West Province Area Three
Thanks to Nintendo Everything, we can now find out how to get Ditto in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The places where you need to go to find the elusive Pokemon are the West Province Area Two as well as the West Province Area Three. However, as you’ve probably already guessed, Ditto will transform into another Pokemon, meaning that it will be a bit difficult to find it even though you will go in those areas. Pretty much any other Pokemon that you find could be, in fact, Ditto.
One great way to say for sure that the Pokemon you’ve spotted is Ditto is to begin battling it. Once the battle starts, Ditto will reveal itself. After you finish battling or capturing a Pokemon, you should lock onto it with the ZL button. If it’s a Ditto, the Pokemon’s name will be shown as “???.”
If you remember the battle between Ash and Drake back in the Orange Islands season of the Pokemon anime, Pikachu had to face a Ditto at some point. After a fierce battle, it turned out that Ash’s Pikachu was stronger than its copycat, meaning the Ditto that also became a Pikachu.
