It’s only a matter of time until Xiaomi brings its new Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro models onto the market. We’re obviously talking about flagship phones, and the presence of the Snapdragon 6 Gen 2 chipset on each of them likely represents the best feature.
NOTEBOOKCHECK reveals that the implementation of the aforementioned chipset made the two smartphones obtain very good results in Geekbench 5. The scores are even significantly better than those reached by the previous Xiaomi 12 series, which was equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
Watch out for the Xiaomi 2211133C and Xiaomi 2210132C!
The upcoming Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro appear in Geekbench 5 as Xiaomi 2211133C and Xiaomi 2210132C, respectively.
Xiaomi 13 Pro is seen in Geekbench to obtain scores revolving around 1500 for single-core and 5300 for multi-core. However, the scores have dropped even to 5184 in multi-core during a test.
As for the standard Xiaomi 13, the scores are more or less the same. For the multi-core score, the highest one was 5308, and the lowest was 4942. As for the single-core scores, the highest was 1509, and the lowest was 1494.
The Xiaomi 13 lineup will come out next month, and the implementation of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is not the only interesting feature of the upcoming phones. Thanks to NextPit, we also know about other specs. For instance, the Xiaomi 13 will feature a 6.2-inch AMOLED display that flaunts a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels (FHD+). The cameras are also out of this world, as the phone will be carrying three sensors of 50MP each. The main camera will consist of a Sony IMX image sensor. For many of those who are in need of powerful cameras for a smartphone, grabbing one from the Xiaomi 13 series will surely save the day.
There’s no telling yet when exactly Xiaomi will release its new series of smartphones, but we can expect to find out more about them soon enough!
