We all have to admit that Elden Ring, the fantasy action RPG released back in February after being developed by FromSoftware, is a pretty solid and good game. But at the same time, it has sure given players a lot of headaches. You don’t always get to know rapidly what it should be done while playing Elden Ring, but that’s why we’re here to help.
One good example is getting your hands on the Erudition Gesture, meaning a reward for completing the NPC Thops’ quest line. But it’s surely not so hard once you figure out the drill.
Complete Thops’ quest
You probably already guessed that in order to get your hands on the Erudition Gesture reward, you need to complete the Thops’ quest. This is not so hard as it might seem at first glance. You can find the NPC Thops in the Church of Irith, which is located nearby Stormwell Castle.
When you meet Thops, he’ll tell you that he needs a Glintstone Key to gain access to the Academy of Raya Lucaria. After you confront the Red Wolf of Radagon in the magical school, and if you defeat him, meaning one of the game’s bosses, you will have to search in the rafters of the Church of Cuckoo to find the key.
After you leave the boss’ room, you’ll have to turn left and up a flight of the stairs that are ruined. Then, you’ll need to go up another flight of stairs. When you reach the top, you must jump over a railing located in the left, head up and left once more, and avoid another railing so that you can reach the rooftop. You’ll have to climb the ladder and again descend another set of rooftops. After that, you’ll find the Church of Cuckoo where you get to collect the Glintstone Key. You’ll have to return to Thops to give him the key, and the Erudition gesture is all yours!
Here’s a little overview from the game’s official Steam page:
A vast world where open fields with a variety of situations and huge dungeons with complex and three-dimensional designs are seamlessly connected. As you explore, the joy of discovering unknown and overwhelming threats await you, leading to a high sense of accomplishment.
Elden Ring is playable on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.
