Zelda is such an iconic moniker for the gaming industry, and it will most probably remain like that for a lot of time. The sequel for Breath of the Wild is now in the works, and we have plenty of reasons to expect an exciting game, even if we’re Zelda fans or not.
The upcoming game has a name, a trailer, and a release date. It’s called ‘The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom,’ and it’s coming out in about half a year, so there’s no use becoming too impatient!

A new trailer came out at Nintendo Direct, and it shows in more detail what the upcoming Zelda game is all about:
Judging by how things look in the trailer, the upcoming Zelda will most probably be exclusive to Nintendo Switch.

If you haven’t heard about floating islands in video games before, you should keep in mind that the upcoming ‘The Legends of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’ will change it all for you.
The Legend of Zelda series had its debut way back in 1986 for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) console. That was an 8-bit classic console and also the ‘ancestor’ of modern consoles. Overall, the Zelda franchise consists of 29 games. Remakes, ports, and collections are also included, not only the main titles.
